Incomplete list of issue being addressed including new features:

• AI console can use a language model you choose:
  • OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, Grok, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, or a model on this computer (OpenAI-compatible, for example Ollama),
  • that model may read and change the open design, or stay limited to the manual and to scripts,
  • code blocks open in the text editor or save as a file; images save and zoom,
  • a running tool is named in the status line; a failed script is reported there as well,
  • formulas and units such as µm and mm are shown as plain text,
• other programs can drive the LayoutEditor (MCP):
  • layout --mcp keeps the window hidden, layout --mcp --mcpgui shows it; no network port is opened,
  • tools for cells, shapes, layers, boolean operations, the view, DRC, the netlist, the schematic, the 3D editor, text files and this manual,
• better support of DXF in the 3D editor
• faster mergeSelect feature
• API extensions:
  • drawingField::deleteLayers(intList layers)

• fixes:
  • the custom style dialog on Qt 6 when the fill pattern was empty,
  • moving a schematic wire with a rectangle on Qt 6,
  • on macOS 27 the editor no longer quits when the OpenAccess lock daemon is not running, and the rule-file DRC warning no longer crashes,
  • .ledrc: rect_sides=2 waives two opposite sides only; density fill no longer leaves frames below 20% empty,
  • DRC interaction checks find shapes that only share a corner,
  • a closed DXF polyline that returns to its start is filled; bulge-heavy outlines no longer hang,
